Job summary

GEO Reentry Services LLC is hiring an Assistant Case Manager to support a Day Reporting Center. You will greet participants, assist Case Managers, complete intake, and document progress in our database.

You’ll conduct occasional drug screens and breath tests, administer group programs, and help with reporting and office duties. Bilingual English/Spanish may be required. We offer a stable environment and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience in Human Services or direct participant services.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) skills may be required.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age with at least five (5) years driving experience if required to transport participants.
• Valid state driver’s license and five (5) year record of safe and competent driving if required to transport participants.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle if required to transport participants.
• Good customer service skills.
• Effective communication skills with internal and external contacts at all levels.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Solid computer skills and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Case Manager greets participants entering the facility. May complete drug screens according to assigned random schedule for each participant check-in.
• May perform breath analysis on each participant who enters the facility for any purpose and provides a written or computerized result.
• The Assistant Case Manager completes initial intake process with participants to completion, including intake paperwork, input into Company database and assignment of groups and other services.
• Provides general office administration duties including answering phones. Provides general customer service to all who enter the facility, including participants, customers and the general public.
• The Assistant Case Manager assists Case Managers with case coordination, communication with appropriate agencies and preparation and distribution of reports.
• Assists in managing a participant caseload using the Principles of Effective Intervention (What Works). Conducts risk/need assessments and creates individual treatment plans for each assigned participant.
• The Assistant Case Manager facilitates evidence-based CBT programs and other life skills programs to participants in groups each week. Documents participants’ attendance, participation and progress in Company database.
• Develops and monitors the participant’s progress relative to their CMP through all phases of the program.
• Files, prepares charts and performs data entry as assigned.
• Responsible for office opening and closing procedures.
