Job summary

The GEO Reentry Services LLC is hiring an Assistant Case Manager for our Day Reporting Center in California. You will perform intake, coordinate cases, document progress, and support Case Managers with evidence-based practices.

Requirements include a high school diploma, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to work with diverse populations. The position offers $23.00 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in Human Services or business discipline preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience in Human Services field with direct participant services preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience working with minority populations preferred.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age with at least five (5) years driving experience if required to transport participants.
• Valid state driver’s license and five (5) year record of safe and competent driving as demonstrated by state motor vehicle report if required to transport participants.

Responsibilities

• Greet participants entering the facility.
• May perform breath analysis on each participant who enters the facility.
• Complete initial intake process with participants to completion, including intake paperwork and database input.
• Provide general office administration duties and customer service to all who enter the facility.
• Assist Case Managers with case coordination, communication with appropriate agencies and reports.
• Conduct risk/need assessments and create individual treatment plans for each participant.
• Facilitate evidence-based CBT programs and life skills groups weekly.
• Develop and monitor participant progress through all program phases.
• File, prepare charts and perform data entry as assigned.
• Handle opening and closing procedures for the office.
