Job summary

GEO Reentry Services LLC. in Bakersfield, CA seeks a detail-oriented Day Reporting Center assistant to support case management, participant intake, and documentation. You will learn and apply evidence-based interventions and work with case managers to coordinate services for participants.

You will conduct intake, track progress, and help with reports, while providing excellent customer service to participants and the public. Some driving may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• College coursework in Human Services or business preferred.
• Minimum of six months experience in Human Services or direct participant services preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish may be required.
• Good customer service and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets participants entering the facility and may perform drug screens.
• May conduct breath analysis and record results.
• Complete intake process and input data into the database.
• Provide general office duties and customer service to visitors.
• Assist in case coordination, communication with agencies and report preparation.
• Manage participant caseload, conduct risk/need assessments, and create treatment plans.
• Facilitate CBT programs and track attendance and progress in the database.
• Develop and monitor progress toward CMP goals; document progress.
• File and prepare charts; data entry as assigned.
• May collect and deposit participant payments and manage cash handling.
• May handle office opening/closing; may install/remove electronic monitoring equipment.
• May transport participants to events and clinics using a company vehicle.
