Job summary

Corewell Health Trenton Hospital is seeking a cardiac rehabilitation professional to manage all phases of rehab, create exercise plans, and educate patients. You will participate in program development and supervise tests to ensure accurate results.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Exercise Science, BLS, and 2+ years in rehab; ACLS is preferred. This role offers part-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or related field.
• Preferred Master's Degree in related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience in cardiac rehab.
• 600-hour clinical internship in cardiac rehab may be required.
• Current BLS Certification required upon hire.
• ACL S preferred (may be required at sites).
• ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist or AACVPR Certified Cardiac Rehab Professional within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide all phases I–III cardiac rehabilitation services.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate exercise prescriptions and sessions.
• Create educational materials and educate patients in rehab.
• Participate in department events, research, and program initiatives.
• Supervise cardiovascular stress tests and collect reliable data.
• Provide EECP, holter and event monitor placement when needed.
