Job summary

Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is seeking a cardiac rehabilitation professional to develop and evaluate exercise prescriptions for all phases of rehab. You will educate patients, plan events, and contribute to program improvements.

Responsibilities include supervising cardiovascular stress tests, coordinating monitor placement, and collaborating with the Noninvasive Lab team to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or related field is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; 600-hour internship may be required depending on site.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred in some sites.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and evaluates exercise prescriptions for phases I–III cardiac rehab.
• Creates educational materials and provides education to patients in rehab and other programs.
• Supervises stress tests and coordinates monitor placement and data uploads in Epic.
• Supports program improvements and patient events within the department.

Education

Bachelor's Degree Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or related field

Master's Degree

2 years of relevant experience

600-hour clinical internship in cardiac rehab

Current BLS Certification

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - preferred

ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist or AACVPR Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional within 1 year
