Job summary

Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital in Troy, MI is seeking a full-time Cardiac Rehab Specialist. You will deliver all phases of cardiac rehab, educate patients, and support program development in a dynamic clinical setting.

The role includes supervising stress tests, EECP, and Holter monitor placements. A Bachelor's in Exercise Science and BLS are required, with a Master’s preferred and certification timelines aligned with professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• ECG interpretation experience required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience or 600-hour internship in cardiac rehab.
• Current BLS certification required at hire.
• ACSM CEP or AACVPR certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate exercise prescriptions for all phases of cardiac rehab.
• Create educational materials and educate cardio/pulmonary patients in rehab.
• Plan events, research, internships, and program development initiatives.
• Supervise cardiovascular stress tests to obtain reliable data.
• Provide EECP and Holter/event monitor placement services.
