Job summary

Advocate Trinity Hospital is seeking a part-time cardiac rehabilitation specialist to interpret stress test data, design and modify exercise programs, and work with the care team to optimize patient outcomes. A Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology is required, with preferred cardiac rehab experience and BLS certification within 6 months.

• Interprets physiological data from stress tests to tailor exercise prescriptions.
• Plans and implements treatment programs based on patient evaluation.
• Adjusts prescriptions for symptomatology or related medical issues.
• Collaborates with physicians to determine program eligibility and progression.
• Provides health education on exercise and risk-factor reduction.
• Mentors staff pursuing ACSM certification in Exercise Technologist or Specialist categories.
