Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union in Kentucky is seeking a front-line member service associate dedicated to the credit union philosophy of People Helping People. You will greet members, open new accounts, handle transactions, and provide accurate information about services through multiple channels.

You will balance cash, manage the vault and coin sorter, operate the drive-thru when needed, and maintain daily records.

Qualifications

Must be able to speak English fluently.
Strong math, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Willing to engage in ongoing training and development.
Basic computer skills and clerical duties.

Responsibilities

Establish new membership, open all accounts, and process changes in accounts.
Educate members on available services and make recommendations based on their needs.
Key all transactions into the Margo system and balance cash drawer with accuracy.
Balance the vault, ATM, TCD and coin sorter.
Operate drive-thru window as needed.
Prepare, order, and verify cash delivery and shipment weekly.
Assist members with account problems, reconciliations, or errors in transactions.
Grant subsequent advances on existing credit cards, open lines and HELOCs after approval.
Answer phone, file paperwork, scan documents into Image System, and perform other clerical duties.
May begin training in other areas of branch operations; other duties as assigned.
