Job summary

University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union seeks a Teller to serve members at our Lexington branch, handling deposits, withdrawals, and routine transactions while delivering excellent service. You will educate members on products and assist with basic account inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

We value accuracy, integrity, and teamwork as you support cash handling, reconciling drawers, and contributing to member satisfaction in a community-focused credit union.

Qualifications

• Six months of similar or related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service and cash handling preferred.
• Proficiency with financial software and MS Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide account services to members in a friendly, professional, accurate, and timely manner.
• Receive, process, and record financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
• Handle night deposits, cashier's checks, money orders, and savings bonds.
• Identify member needs and cross-sell credit union services, including loans and savings plans.
• Refer members to Financial Services Officers for additional product recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and banking regulations; maintain confidentiality.
