Job summary

Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union in Seton is seeking a part-time Branch Member Service Representative to serve as the friendly face of RBFCU, blending teller tasks with personal banking support to educate members on RBFCU products and services. You will engage with members through multiple channels, review deposits for fraud, and follow RBFCU policies while maintaining a high level of customer service.

A bilingual English/Spanish capability is valued and supported by a certification path

Qualifications

• Six months of work experience in a financial institution, customer service or sales preferred.
• Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday.
• Able to cover staffing at other locations within the region as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to solve problems and follow detailed instructions.
• Proficient with PC and office software.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide enthusiastic, professional service to members and prospective members.
• Process transactions across multiple channels (in person, drive-thru, video, phone).
• Maintain cash and negotiable instruments per policies and laws.
• Use needs-based conversations to identify financial needs and recommend RBFCU products.
• Support sales culture and branch standards with best practices.
• Respond to Member Service Center requests as a Branch Reservist when needed.
• Assess deposits for potential fraud and impersonation to reduce losses.
• Assist with account openings, updates, and closings and understand RBFCU agreements.
• Prepare teller reports and assist with branch operations as requested.
• Observe safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions.
