SECU, a member-focused credit union serving North Carolina, seeks a Customer Service Teller to greet members, open accounts, handle cash, and respond to inquiries across channels. You will balance cash, process deposits and withdrawals, and help with safe deposit boxes as needed.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and courteous communication. You will use the Margo system, assist with card transactions, audits, and daily records, and may assist in other branch operations as needed.

• Greet members and respond to needs with patience and professionalism.
• Handle opening of new memberships and accounts; process changes.
• Balance cash drawer and reconcile daily transactions.
• Operate drive-through and vault/ATM responsibilities as needed.

• Handle establishment of new membership, open all accounts, and process changes in accounts.
• Educate members on available services and make recommendations based on their needs.
• Key all required transactions into the Margo system and balance cash drawer with accuracy.
• Balance the vault, ATM, TCD and coin sorter.
• Operate drive-thru window as needed.
• Keep daily and monthly records of reports: vault control, returned checks, Visa gift cards, theme park tickets, forgeries, coin sorter.
• Prepare, order, and verify cash delivery and shipment weekly.
• Assist members with account problems, checking reconciliations, or errors in transactions.
• Grant subsequent advances on existing credit cards, open lines and home equity lines of credit - consult with an approving officer prior to advance.
• Answer phone, file paperwork, scan documents into Image System, and perform other clerical duties as needed.
• May begin training in other areas of branch operations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
