The Children’s Museum Houston is seeking a part-time Box Office Associate in Houston. You will provide friendly guest service, process admissions, and help manage daily ticket sales to events and general access.

Qualifications

• Previous box office experience is a plus.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Weekend and evening availability requested.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service to visitors and answer questions.
• Sell museum admissions and tickets to events and performances.
• Reconcile cash drawers daily and submit to supervisor for approval.
• Promote memberships and special programs.
• Assist with cross-training and box office organization.
• Input membership information into the database and support events as needed.
• Input membership information into the membership database and assist membership department with mailings and events as needed.
• Commit to 15–30 hours per week.
