Job summary

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is seeking a part-time Box Office Sales Assistant. You will provide high quality, face-to-face service, sell tickets and memberships, and process data with accuracy. You will balance cash, maintain privacy, and promote museum programs while working with a friendly team.

This role requires flexibility to work weekends/holidays and a willingness to assist across Visitor Services and the Customer Service Center as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in box office or customer service.
• Ability to handle cash accurately in busy environments.
• Strong data entry and privacy discipline.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Bi-lingual helpful (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional service in daily, extensive face-to-face contact with museum guests.
• Sells tickets, memberships, renewals, upgrades, and will call using admissions software.
• Enters customer demographic data accurately and maintains data privacy.
• Promotes museum memberships and meets monthly sales goals.
• Maintains product knowledge to assist visitors and supports visit planning.
