Responsibilities

• Input membership information into the database and support events as needed.

Job Summary

Assure smooth day-to-day operations of the Museum Box Office by providing customer service to all visitors, management of daily ticket sales, reconciliation of individual cash drawer, accurate and consistent reporting of financial attendance information, and assisting with functions and events.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors; answer questions, solve problems.
• Conduct sales of museum admission tickets as well as tickets to special events and performances as required.
• Reconcile individual cash drawers daily and submit to the Admissions Supervisor for final approval.
• Promote the sale of museum memberships and other special programs.
• Assist with cross-training of the other staff members in the box office as needed
• Help maintain the organization of box office area.
• Request supplies from box office supervisor as needed.
• Input membership information into membership database and assist membership department with mailings and events as needed.
• Ability to commit to no less than 15 and no more than 30 hours a week
