Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or certificate preferred.
• One year of office experience, preferably in medical or dental setting.
• Two years of medical/dental office experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required at level 9 for bilingual pay.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Professional interaction with patients, providers, and staff.
• Basic proficiency with EMR, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates reports and registries for the PCHH team with outreach, scheduling, and documentation.
• Completes audits for invasive procedures and in-house labs and tracks audits with documentation.
• Identifies and communicates process improvement ideas to appropriate staff.
• Handles Release of Information forms and forwards subpoenas/court orders to HIM for processing.
• Sorts and distributes mail and faxes to departments or recipients.
• Provides OB support including running reports, OB log maintenance, and providing consent forms to hospital.
• Provides chart review support to PA/NP and maintains a chart review log.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
