LifeWise Academy seeks compassionate substitute teachers to engage students with the LifeWise curriculum. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be active church participants.

As an hourly, part-time role, you will complete substitute teacher training and teach LifeWise classes as needed, following provided lesson plans and LifeWise policies while maintaining a safe, organized classroom.

Qualifications

• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment.
• Follow LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Maintain attendance records and communicate with teachers.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers and the teacher.
