LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time substitute teacher to lead LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis. You will implement provided lesson plans, maintain a safe and organized classroom, and communicate with teachers and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum using provided lesson plans
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment
• Follow the program's student discipline policy
• Take attendance and provide records
• Maintain a clean, attractive classroom and be prepared for emergencies
• Act as LifeWise ambassador within the community and communicate plans with volunteers
• Communicate with the teacher
