Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel with public school students using LifeWise curriculum. The role blends in-depth Bible knowledge with classroom instruction and relies on strong communication and relationship-building.

Ideal candidates are active church participants with a mature Christian faith and the ability to engage both churched and unchurched students while maintaining redemptive discipline and supportive classroom management.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and customize as needed.
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayer.
• Maintain an organized, encouraging, and redemptive classroom environment.
• Apply LifeWise policies, procedures and resources.
• Take attendance and maintain class rosters as needed.
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom.
• Communicate with program director and school officials about schedules and student well-being.
