Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our growing team in Massachusetts. The role supports the implementation of clients’ behavior support plans and ABA-based instruction under the supervision of a BCBA.

Responsibilities include monitoring client behavior, data collection, and reporting results to the supervising BCBA, while collaborating with families to promote meaningful changes in behavior and skill development.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED with 24 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Or an associate degree or higher in human, social, or educational services, or related behavior management field with 12 months experience.
• Or certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with 12 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement clients’ behavior support plans to reduce problematic behavior and provide ABA-based instruction.
• Monitor client behavior, collect data, and report results to the supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and families to foster meaningful behavior changes.
