Job summary

Summit Academy School in Worcester, Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a multidisciplinary team. The BCBA will support students with significant behavioral and learning needs through evidence‑based assessment, intervention, and staff training.

The successful candidate will conduct FBAs, develop BIPs, and collaborate with teachers, families, and districts to promote positive, therapeutic learning environments while ensuring data-driven decisions

Qualifications

• Masters degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or related field.
• Experience with children/adolescents with emotional/behavioral/learning challenges.
• Massachusetts licensure, if applicable; crisis prevention/training such as Safety Care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to inform decisions.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data and outcomes; align with IEP goals.
• Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to teachers and staff.
• Collaborate with families, administration, and districts to support student success.
• Develop school-wide behavioral programming and contribute to program development.
