Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate in Jeffersonville, IN to support B2B sales and customer service at our 3319 Industrial Pkwy location.

The role involves consultative selling, building new partnerships, and growing existing accounts while coordinating branch resources and responding to customer needs. You will conduct local sales calls, engage customers, and work for a fast-paced, results-driven team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must have/ pursuing a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management or related field or have customer service/industry experience.
• Possess or are working towards a degree in a related field OR have customer service or industry experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Exhibit strong aptitude for sales and customer service orientation.
• Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
• Demonstrate organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Exhibit teamwork and integrity.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages 25lbs-50lbs, up to 75lbs.
• Pass drug screen where required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting business to business (B2B) sales and customer service activities.
• Providing value to customer through a consultative sales approach.
• Developing new and growing existing relationships from leads, referrals and prospecting.
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Performing local sales calls and driving a company vehicle to customer sites.
• Performing other duties to ensure branch success.
