Fastenal Co. in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate to help customers by understanding inventory management needs and offering consultative solutions.

The role supports B2B sales, grows the book of business, and represents Fastenal on local customer sites. This position requires 18+ years of age, a valid driver's license, strong communication and computer skills, and a willingness to lift up to 75 lbs.

Formación

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess a valid driver's license with ability to meet driving requirements.
• Pursuing or have a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management or related field OR have customer service/industry experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Demonstrate strong aptitude for sales and customer service orientation.
• Strong math, organization, planning abilities; sense of urgency.
• Pass drug screen (US/PR/Guam) and background check as required.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Support B2B sales and customer service activities.
• Provide value through a consultative sales approach.
• Develop new and grow existing relationships from leads, referrals, and prospecting.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Perform local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites.
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
