Job summary

Fastenal is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate for our Lakeland, FL branch. You will engage in B2B sales and customer service, using a consultative approach to communicate the value of our inventory management solutions.

You’ll develop new partnerships and nurture existing ones within your book of business, supporting branch success and growth. Responsibilities include conducting local sales calls, coordinating resources for customer needs, and building relationships from leads or referrals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Hold a valid driver's license with ability to meet driving requirements.
• Pursuing or holding a relevant degree or have customer service/industry experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong aptitude for sales and customer service orientation.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support B2B sales and customer service activities.
• Provide value through a consultative sales approach to customers.
• Develop new and grow existing relationships from leads, referrals and prospecting.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Perform local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites.
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
