Fastenal is hiring a Part-time Sales Associate for our Martin, TN Public Store. You’ll engage customers, promote inventory management solutions, and build partnerships with local businesses.

The role emphasizes consultative selling and reliable branch support, with a 7:00am–5:00pm window and up to 28 hours per week. Ideal candidates are 18+ with a valid driver’s license, strong communication, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid driver's license with driving eligibility.
• Degree in Business/Sales/Marketing or related field OR relevant experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Aptitude for sales and customer service.
• Self-motivated and organized with a sense of urgency.
• Math aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong problem solving and prioritization abilities.
• Alignment with core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs (up to 75 lbs) as needed.
• Pass drug screening where required.

Responsibilities

• Support B2B sales and customer service activities.
• Provide value through a consultative sales approach.
• Develop new relationships and grow existing ones from leads and referrals.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Conduct local sales calls using a company vehicle.
• Perform other duties to support branch success.
