Job summary

Fastenal invites you to join its Corinth, MS branch as a Part-time Sales Associate PT. In this role you will support B2B sales, build new partnerships and grow existing relationships while delivering consultative value of inventory management solutions.

You’ll operate with a customer-first mindset, handle local sales calls in a company vehicle, and contribute to branch success. Shift: up to 28 hours/week; 7:00am–5:00pm; age 18+, valid license required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older per position requirements.
• Valid driver's license with ability to meet driving record requirements.
• Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management or related field OR relevant customer service/industry experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Sales aptitude and customer service orientation.
• Highly motivated and self-directed.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Strong organization and prioritizing abilities.
• Strong problem solving and decision making.
• Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Lift, slide, carry 25lbs-50lbs and up to 75lbs.
• Pass the drug screen (US, Puerto Rico and Guam).

Responsibilities

• Supporting business to business (B2B) sales and customer service activities
• Providing value to customer through a consultative sales approach
• Developing new and growing existing relationships from leads, referrals and prospecting
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer service needs
• Performing local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success
