Fastenal Co. in Bronx, NY is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate to support B2B sales and customer service, driving local calls and building relationships with leads, referrals and prospects at 1448 Ferris Pl.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 18+, and the ability to lift 25–50 lbs (up to 75 lbs). Training is provided through Fastenal's School of Business; compensation ranges from $17 to $22 per hour with up to 28 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet driving record requirements for company vehicle use.
• Currently pursuing or have a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, or Management or have related customer service experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Demonstrate sales aptitude and customer service orientation.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Demonstrate problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills.

Responsabilités

• Support B2B sales and customer service activities.
• Provide value through a consultative sales approach.
• Develop new and grow existing relationships from leads, referrals, and prospecting.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Perform local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites.
