Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate for our Denver branch at 555 W 48th Ave. This role focuses on B2B sales, customer service and relationship building within a Retail/Industrial environment.

You will engage customers with a consultative approach, develop new partnerships, and coordinate resources to meet service needs while working a part-time schedule of up to 28 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field OR relevant experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Aptitude for sales and customer service.
• Strong math, attention to detail and urgency.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Adheres to Fastenal's values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs.
• Pass drug screen (US, PR, Guam) and sex offender registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Supporting B2B sales and customer service activities.
• Providing value through a consultative sales approach.
• Developing new and growing existing relationships from leads and referrals.
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Performing local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites.
• Performing other duties to ensure branch success.
