Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills required

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a positive manner
• Transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, payroll and cash receipts
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized
• Protect store assets, including cash
• Adhere to safety and company policies
• Train and develop Store Associates
• Ensure a clean, safe, and friendly environment
