Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help manage daily activities, assist customers, and ensure sales floor and stockroom are well organized to company standards.

You will also assist in training Store Associates, uphold safety and loss prevention procedures, and execute corporate directives while delivering a positive, friendly shopping experience to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Retail store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Support merchandise organization from delivery to sales floor.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged goods, and record-keeping.
• Lead training and development of store associates.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and safe store environment.
• Protect company assets including cash.
