Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandising, and enforcing store policies while supporting the Store Manager in training and supervising associates.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and daily activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Follow corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, record-keeping and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized per company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure policy compliance by associates.
• SupportStore Manager in supervising, training and developing store associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
