You will assist with opening/closing, merchandising, scheduling, and training, while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read, interpret and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics).
• Retail, grocery, or drug store management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and related requests.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits/receipts, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked and organized store and stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies; ensure associates comply with procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, positive, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
