Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Lucasville, OH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development.

You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and help organize merchandise from delivery to floor. This role covers opening/closing procedures, policy adherence, payroll and scheduling duties, loss prevention, and mentoring Store Associates to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
