Dollar Tree, Inc. in Ohio seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities and help maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom.

The role emphasizes mentoring Store Associates, ensuring safety, and upholding company standards while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers. This part-time position offers a collaborative environment, opportunities for growth, and a benefits program

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties (walking, standing, bending, etc.).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor as needed; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record-keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, restrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
