Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and demonstrates readiness for store responsibilities.
• Experience managing retail or grocery store operations is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to lead store teams.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of daily duties.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Ensure a neat, well-stocked store and secure store assets, including cash.
