Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities and help maintain an organized, welcoming sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties as required.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, payroll/scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized.
• Protect company assets, including cash.
• Enforce policies and safety guidelines.
• Help supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment.
• Keep store clean and presentable; restock as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
