Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to lead our store and drive sales in a mall setting. You’ll support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting and developing a strong team, and promoting products to engage customers.

You’ll balance operations with customer-first selling, monitor shrink and payroll, and collaborate with retail leadership and HQ on trends and feedback. Build buzz with promotions and timely launches.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail store management experience.
• Strong communication, recruiting, operations skills.
• High school diploma or GED (degree if any).

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in achieving sales plan and comp sales goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative team.
• Promote products via promotions, social media, BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Provide leadership for an operationally sound business.
• Monitor shrink, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ on trends and feedback.
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy.
• Merchandise the store using planograms and launch promos on time.
• Develop a high-performing, customer-focused team.
