Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to assist the Store Manager in driving store performance and delivering an exceptional in-store experience. You will lead a small team, recruit and train staff, and promote new products through promotions, social media, and curbside pickup.

You’ll balance operations with customer-first selling, monitor shrink and payroll, and partner with HQ to act on trends and feedback while using sales data to hit goals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading retail teams and driving sales.
• Strong communication, recruiting, operations, and people development skills.
• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in achieving the sales plan and comp sales goals.
• Help recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, passionate team.
• Promote products and promotions via in-store and social media channels; support BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Provide leadership to run an operationally sound business with customer-first selling practices.
• Monitor shrink, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ on trends and feedback.
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy to hit targets.
• Merchandise store using planograms and launch promotions on time.
• Develop a high-performing, customer-focused team in partnership with the Store Manager.
