Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to help lead the loudest store in the mall.

You will support the Store Manager in hitting sales targets, recruiting and developing a strong team, and driving customer engagement through promotions and timely launches. You’ll balance operations, autonomy, and a customer-first selling approach while managing schedules, shrink prevention, and payroll.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail store management experience required.
• Strong communication, recruiting, operations, scheduling, and merchandising skills needed.
• Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in achieving sales targets and store objectives.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative team.
• Promote products and promotions to drive customer engagement and sales.
• Oversee operations, shrink prevention, payroll hours, and staff scheduling.
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ on trends and feedback.
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy.
• Merchandise the store using planograms and execute promos on time.
• Develop a high-performing, customer-focused team with your Store Manager.
