BoxLunch in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 to support the store leadership team, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and drive sales. You will use your fandom knowledge to train new recruits and help meet store goals.

In this role you will assist with daily operations, merchandising, and ensuring a positive, collaborative team environment while upholding Brand standards and community initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages repeat visits.
• Cover the sales floor and provide leadership support when the Manager is unavailable.
• Open and close the store when needed.
• Process transactions and drive add-on sales with services like BOPIS and curbside pickup; report shortages/overages.
• Understand store sales plans and KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising adjustments.
• Communicate fashion trends to management and HQ partners.
• Help prevent theft and maintain store security with management.
• Maintain stock room organization and store cleanliness.
• Develop and retain a collaborative, proactive team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Leader.
