Job summary

BoxLunch is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 to join our store in Merced, CA. You will support the leadership team, train new recruits, and help achieve daily sales targets while ensuring a positive customer experience for fans.

You will open/close, manage the register, and use fandom knowledge to boost add-on sales. A flexible, team-oriented approach is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• Avenger-like skills: communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and a drive to develop your peeps.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience to encourage customer return and showcase product knowledge.
• Support store leadership and cover sales floor when needed.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Process sales transactions and drive add-on sales with benefits like BOPIS or curbside pickup.
• Understand sales plans, KPIs, and store goals.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Maintain stock room and store tidiness; support a collaborative team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.
