Job summary

BoxLunch is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting and developing a team, and driving customer engagement. You’ll promote products, manage promotions including BOPIS and curbside pickup, and ensure operational excellence with strong people leadership.

The role requires 1–2 years in retail store management, solid communication and scheduling skills, and a willingness to train and develop staff.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience.
• Communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising).
• Avenger-like skills: communication, time management, professionalism, operations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED (degree a plus).
• Retail is fast-changing; adaptability is key.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in achieving sales plan and comp sales goals.
• Help recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative team.
• Promote new products and manage promotions, BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Provide leadership for an operationally sound store with strong customer focus.
• Monitor shrink, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
