Job summary

BoxLunch is hiring a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 at our Los Angeles store. You’ll support the leadership team in delivering an outstanding customer experience, train new recruits, and help meet daily sales targets.

On the floor you’ll open and close the store, process transactions, drive add-on sales, and assist with merchandising and stockroom organization. You’ll help develop a collaborative team and contribute to BoxLunch’s mission of donating meals with every purchase.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership abilities.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide a great shopping experience to encourage returns.
• Cover the sales floor and provide leadership support when needed.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Process transactions and drive add‑on sales with benefits like BOPIS.
• Close out the register and report shortages or overages.
• Understand store sales plans and KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising.
• Communicate fashion trend information to management and HQ.
• Maintain organized stock room and store tidiness.
• Develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team.
