Job summary

BoxLunch in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 to support the store leadership team in delivering an exceptional customer experience and drive sales. You’ll train new recruits, ensure operations run smoothly, and help meet sales targets while leveraging fandom knowledge to engage fans and manage daily store responsibilities.

You’ll open and close the store, coordinate with HQ on merchandising, and uphold safety and theft prevention.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• You have strong communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and leadership to develop your team.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide an outstanding shopping experience to encourage return customers.
• Support store leadership on the sales floor and provide leadership when needed.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Process sales transactions and drive add-on sales with BOPIS and curbside.
• Understand store sales plan, KPIs (UPT, ADT).
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising.
• Communicate fashion trends to management and HQ.
• Help prevent theft and keep stockroom organized.
• Develop a collaborative team and handle other duties as assigned.
