Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Part-Time Collections Specialist to manage accounts receivable collections and build strong customer relationships in a stable, part-time role.

The role is on-site in Ronkonkoma, NY, with a 20-hour workweek (M–F, 8 AM–12 PM). Compensation ranges from $25 to $28 per hour DOE, plus a 401(k) with up to 4% employer contribution. Prior collections experience and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Collections experience.
• Strong phone-based collections experience and customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable collections, including outbound customer calls and payment follow-ups.
• Research and resolve outstanding balances, overdue invoices, and account discrepancies.
• Review customer credits, returns, and account adjustments.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers while ensuring timely collections.
• Assist with invoice inquiries, payment issues, and account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain accurate AR records.
• Support additional AR and accounting responsibilities as needed.
