Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach Introduction to Animal Science, Beef Production, Sheep Production, Swine Production, Equine Science, Equitation, Western Riding, Equine Handling, and Horse Training.
• Teach Food Safety and HACCP concepts with diverse delivery methods (face-to-face, online, hybrid).
• Communicate effectively with students and use approved curriculum outlines.
• Evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and exams; provide syllabi.
• Maintain classroom records per District Policy and submit grading reports timely.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least two years of directly related experience

Associate degree or higher and at least six years of directly related experience

A valid California Community College credential

The equivalent education and/or experience (requires an equivalency)
