Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chicano Studies or Ethnic Studies, or CCC credential.
• Commitment to equity-minded instruction and closing achievement gaps.
• Experience serving diverse student populations and supporting inclusive teaching practices.
• Willingness to engage in culturally relevant professional development.

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Chicano-Latino Studies courses as assigned.
• Use a variety of pedagogies and technology-enabled formats (face-to-face, online, hybrid).
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff.
• Adhere to approved curriculum outlines and evaluate student progress.
• Provide course syllabi and maintain accurate records for grading and reporting.
• Fulfill duties and responsibilities of instructors as required by policy and regulation.
