Job summary

Reedley College seeks a Chicano-Latino Studies instructor to join its part-time faculty pool. Qualifications

• All candidates must show responsiveness to diverse student populations and equity-minded practice.
• Master’s degree in Chicano Studies or Ethnic Studies or valid California Community College Credential or equivalency.
• Equivalency petition required if degrees do not match exactly as stated.

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Chicano-Latino Studies courses as assigned.
• Use diverse pedagogies and technology for face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff.
• Use approved curriculum outlines and assess student progress.
• Provide course syllabi and maintain classroom records.
