David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to support the alterations department and deliver an A+ customer experience across in-store, phone, and online channels. You will assist with appointments, garment pressing, and ensuring orders are ready for pickup.

You will welcome customers, manage workflow, and promote alterations services while maintaining store standards and a friendly, inclusive environment. This role emphasizes service excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store
• Prior sewing experience is helpful
• Prior experience with computerized POS system

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in person, over the phone, and via virtual chats with friendly enthusiasm
• Manage customer flow to deliver five-star service using all systems
• Assist with appointments, alterations workflow, and ensuring items are ready for pickup
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and resolve concerns; escalate when needed
• Explain how alterations can improve the dress for events and promote alteration services
• Maintain store standards and promotional readiness; ensure a clean alterations area
• Assist with inventory, special orders, and cash wrap transactions accurately
