Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking an Afterschool Site Lead for the Katy area to oversee a licensed school-age program. You will ensure safety, supervision, and engaging activities while coordinating daily operations and maintaining compliance with state licensing and YMCA policies.

This part-time role offers a base pay of $14.00 per hour plus a temporary $3.00 per hour stipend for eligible locations, with opportunities to support families and communities through quality youth development

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience with youth in licensed settings.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Background checks and TB health screenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Keep children safe and supervise activities per licensing requirements.
• Manage daily site operations and ensure clean, safe program space.
• Maintain attendance, incident and compliance records.
• Apply positive behavior management and inclusive practices.
• Ensure program and policy compliance with licensing standards.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities per YMCA curriculum.
• Engage with parents and community partners regularly.
• Maintain enrollment and attendance records.
• Support program growth and enrollment retention.
