Job summary

Arc Experience in the Los Angeles area is seeking a Program Leader for after-school and enrichment programs. You will guide students through social-emotional learning, homework help, and fun activities, shaping a safe, engaging environment.

This part-time, non-exempt role reports to the Site Coordinator. We value diversity, offer growth, and welcome those who can commute reliably and bring energy to our daily program.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Strong communication with kids and parents.
• College transcripts showing 48+ college credit units or ability to pass an academic proficiency exam.
• TB test and Live Scan background check required.
• Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids at the end of their school day.
• Organize and lead activities including homework help, recreation games, arts and crafts, and educational projects.
• Join in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create unique clubs for students (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain a secure environment by following safety protocols and supervising group dynamics.
• Oversee safety and wellbeing of students during after-school activities.
• Encourage participation and adapt activities to meet diverse needs and interests.
